Is Danny Williams Bill Clinton's Son?

SATURDAY, JANUARY 2nd, 1999 -- NEW YORK (APJP) -- Here's a good one.

Our little friend and top journa-weasel Matt Drudge e-mailed us what he called a "Drudge Report World Exclusive."

This so-called world exclusive was yet another rehash of someone else's work by Drudge. That someone is a real working reporter, Richard Gooding. Gooding works for The Star -- a cheap tabloid which loves to make people miserable. But at least Dick digs up his own dirt.

Matt, isn't a world exclusive something you develop? As happened with the Lewinsky story, we see that you are again stealing someone else's work and labeling it as your own.

When will you grow up?

According to Drudge, one Danny Williams, the 13-year-old son of former or current prostitute Bobbie Ann Williams, who has claimed more than once -- and for the past 12 years -- that Danny is the biological son of Bill Clinton, has gone to a blood lab.

It seems that Danny has taken a DNA test -- which we assume will be compared to the Starr DNA test on little Monica's blue dress, thereby establishing ipso facto that the President has a son in Danny -- or doesn't.

We ask this simple question -- huh?

If Danny is Bill Clinton's son, so be it. But we thought this wasn't about sex -- was it? Every Republican member of the House Judiciary Committee -- including cocktail-waitress-wanna-be Mary Bono -- tell us that their lynching of Bill Clinton is not about sex, but about lying under oath.

So where's the lie?

If you think Danny Williams has once again come out of the closet only because the President's DNA is now available for comparison, think again. Williams, his mom and his guardian aunt Lucy Bolton have been primed and hidden away by the same people who supported Paula Jones in her extortion suit. Don't be surprised if identical lawyers appear to represent "poor Danny" against the White House. Don't be shocked if the Rutherford "Institute" sues Bill Clinton for back child support plus "punitive damages" if the little black bars on the celluloid match up.

Meanwhile, it seems Matt and Dick Gooding didn't get their marching orders right, or decided to ignore them. To them, it is about sex, isn't it! We wonder if Tim Russert, the new Pope of NBC, will rant on this one tomorrow morning on Meet the Press.

Probably not, because to Tim, it's about lying under oath... isn't it?

He's been told all of his life that Bill Clinton is his father, and late last month, 13-year old Danny Williams of Arkansas underwent a DNA test to find out the truth!

STAR MAGAZINE and ace investigative reporter Richard Gooding have exclusively signed Williams and his family for the paternity test of the century!

Word of the shocking new DNA showdown spread through the ranks inside of the White House on Friday, causing near blind chaos!

"It's the stained dress all over again," one well-placed source reveals. "We've been here before."

The Williams DNA will be compared to Clinton DNA results that were previously obtained, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

And Gooding has been building the story for sometime, according to insiders.

"He's maintained a good relationship with the family," says a source. "They trust him. They just finally want to know the truth!"

Williams' guardian, his aunt, Lucille Bolton, could not be reached for comment.

The story of Danny Williams and his mother Bobbie Ann has been circling in Arkansas for years. Williams told a tabloid in 1992 that her son was conceived during a paid sex encounter with Bill Clinton. [The mother passed a lie-detector test.]

The current DNA cliffhanger is not the first time that Gooding has hit a gusher on the Clinton scandal front. STAR's Gooding caused pandemonium back in 1996 when he exclusively exposed Dick Morris' relationship with a prostitute.
