I just had to share this with you folks.

Last night, Barbara Olson was on Bill Maher's Politically Incorrect to hawk her new book about Hillary -- and finally got challenged on the hate she spews.

Weasel Words from Barbara (as overheard on Politically Incorrect as broadcast Dec. 1 [Nov. 30 in some time zones], 1999)

Bill Maher: How can we take this seriously?

Barbara Olson: Well, because I spent four years investigating the Clinton Administration.

William Baldwin: What did you come up with? How many indictments? Filegate, Travelgate, how many indictments?

Barbara: I'm in Congress, so I don't indict.

William: How many indictments were handed down as a result of your investigation?

Barbara: Well, it's now with the independent counsel, and they've not finished yet.

William: How many have come down so far?

Barbara: You know, Congress doesn't count their success by indictments.

Bill: Here's the book: Hillary Clinton Likes Children the Way Trent Lott Likes Aircraft Carriers is on sale now!

First, Maher asked why all the pictures of Hillary in her book were so ugly whereas the back of her book shows a glamorized picture of Barbara. LOL! He then told her the book really reflects the hate she feels for Hillary.

Then a guest, actor William Baldwin, asked her how she could print such lies and distortions about Hillary. He said the book was nothing but trash being used by Barbara to push her point of view about the Clintons -- which was totally wrong. Baldwin then told the audience not to buy the book because it was trash!

All this time, Barbara was sputtering, trying to defend the book and herself.

Maher then read a statement from the book in which Barbara claims that Hillary wants to be President. Maher then asked her how she could possibly know that! Olson started in with something about " Hillary's friends had said this," but Maher then asked Olson when Hillary told her that she wanted to be President -- not what "her friends" said!

It was a delight to watch Barbara squirm after watching her spew her hate and lies about the Clintons as a TV talking head for more than two years! At long last, one of the half-assed right- wing conspiracy gets their comeuppance

...and I loved it!
