The Amazing Update to Dan Burton's "Cirque du Moron" Now Appearing on Capitol Hill

I called all the numbers -- and spoke to Danny Lee's office for at least 5 minutes -- I asked them, "What was Mr. Burton going for? For Huang to say that Gore knew it was a fund raiser?"
He said yes! -- that they were splitting hairs.
So I said, "Well, this is not going to stop then, until Mr. Huang says or somehow sticks this to Gore? Correct?"
He said, "Well, basically, yes, until we get the truth."
I said, "What about Henry Hyde and his part in Iran Contra or the S&L's? Or Nixon, who WALKED, for Christ's sake?"
He said (I'm not making this up), "TWO WRONGS don't make a RIGHT!"
Can you believe it? I told him that I knew about all the crazy things Mr. Burton has done -- with the watermelons, etc. -- I could tell he was beginning to get pissed off at me, but he remained calm. I told him there are a whole bunch of us out here who are watching and we don't like what's going on.
I also called Rep. Waxman's office, gave a cheer speech and told his office to keep up the good fight -- we are with him and we are proud he is standing up to all those biased, hypocritical assholes -- all who are guilty of campaign crimes.
I will be sending off letters tomorrow.
This is nuts. I have watched the hearing -- all of it.
Friday, Dec. 17, 1999 -- WASHINGTON, D.C. -- For a solid day, Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA) reminded American voters what a despicable moron Representative Dan Burton truly is -- using only Burton's own statements in the past and yesterday.

A prominent member of the trumped-up moron parade is "Goody Two Shoes" Congressmen Chris Shays (R-CT), who claims to be for campaign finance reform -- but still pretends to outraged by this Administration's non-crimes involving the name-dropping, power flaunting routine served up by one John Wong to a cadre of rich idiots: Mr. Riady of Indonesia and his many sidekick banker-buddies.

Riady, in the vain hope of showing all of Asia that he was in direct contact at all times with Bill Clinton, fell into the usual trap always open to big-mouthed and big-spending influence peddlers. He promised the President that he would raise a million dollars for his campaigns. He raised more, in fact -- and then laundered these moneys through John Huang, a man who has pled guilty to felony charges in this regard and appeared this week before the Burton Lynch Panel (a.k.a. House Government Reform and Oversight Committee), chaired by arch-Clown Burton and staffed by some of the stupidest Capitol Hill lunatics ever to grace these halls.

We invite you to look at Dan "the fool" Burton's FEC reports to see for yourself what a hypocrite he actually is.

Burton himself has had to return a gaggle of big contributions because they were illegal -- and only did so because
he was caught red-handed. In comparison, the President had no idea that Riady's promise would include laundered money from Huang.

In short, Clinton did NOTHING illegal. Gore did nothing illegal.

But Dan Burton has -- by offering up as "proof" nothing but lies, half-truths and conjecture to the American people. He is doing this for one reason and one reason alone: to try and undo the damage he and his treacherous, lecherous buddy Henry Hyde did last year -- a blunder which Burton knows will relegate him to well-deserved back-bencher status after November 2000.

Burton, who grilled Mr. Huang all day Wednesday, and opened Thursday's hearings reading a pitiful letter from a moronic and likely deluded constituent pleading for him to continue his lying, now looks a bigger idiot than usual. Not only did he got nothing new from "prize witness" Huang -- in fact, Huang, who is testifying under total immunity from Burton, proved every statement Burton has made regarding the "Clinton Chinese Connection" false.

Remember, Huang has nothing to gain or lose by testifying to these Republican fools. And Huang is quite angry at the White House for failing to back him during his fight with Burton, the FBI and some GOP-planted members of the Justice Department who seek to injure the President and, now, the Vice President.

While BushBaby runs ahead while lying, concealing his criminal record in Texas for cocaine possession and use, and pretending for all concerned that "Jesus" has saved him like some death row born-again -- Burton, hoping desperately for a Bush appointment to something other than low-life congressman from a laughable district in Indiana (it must be, because it keeps re-electing a moron like Burton), is pretending that Democrats and Democrats alone have found themselves in positions which force them to return illegal contributions.

Burton's pretense is so far out that he actually tried to stop Henry Waxman from entering FBI files on Rep. Gerry Solomon (R-NY-not running again) who not only took illegal contributions, but probably orchestrated them!

Let me also remind you about Nixon's millions that came in cash from ADM's Dwayne Andreas, and a variety of other illegal contributions taken and later returned -- only because they were uncovered by the press -- by Reagan, Bush and hundreds of GOP Senators and members of the House.

Burton, who should be ejected by his fellow House members and forced to sit in the Rotunda wearing a dunce cap, is lying to the American people every day by failing to explain to them that nearly every elected official has been the victim or the ringmaster of every conceivable campaign finance fraud -- and that includes Mr. Burton and every member of his carnival committee.

Burton -- who desperately and truly needs psychiatric help -- is the same nut who shot at cantaloupes in his suburban backyard -- WITH THE MEDIA PRESENT -- to "prove" that Bill and Hillary Clinton murdered their best friend, Vincent Foster. Burton has charged the President with other Twilight Zone felonies including: plotting with the Chinese to take
over the United States; personally selling nuclear and missile secrets to the People's Liberation Army, and conspiring with the PRC to attack Taiwan.

Burton is both a psychopath and a sociopath who must be charged by his peers for a variety of felonies -- including TREASON, perpetrated from his office and as Chairman of his Committee.

Republican members of the House -- the generally moderate ones who seek nothing much more than "less government interference in American lives" -- should have their heads examined for having allowed Burton and his henchmen to destroy their own opportunities to be re-elected.

Burton, who, as I write, continues his fruitless pursuit of Clinton through Huang, has done such destruction to the people's faith in their elected leaders that he could win the Joe McCarthy Award for Destruction of American Democracy hands down.

Even Senator Fred Thompson -- who is smart enough to have learned how one could be manipulated by the neo-fascist wing of the GOP -- privately tells friends that he wishes Burton would "keel over" sooner than later and be forced to give up his seat for a bass boat in the Florida Keys.

If our readers are the fine Americans I think they are, they should engage their representatives in a serious discussion about removing Burton from ANY position of responsibility in the House and relegating him to the member's men's room at the earliest possibility.

And yes, while there are treacherous others serving on the right side of the aisle, no one has so earned the loathing of the masses more than Burton and his disgraceful staff.

Just take one look at the House of Representatives' OFFICIAL web page for Burton's committee.

The site is an appalling abomination -- nothing less than a blatant political advertisement for Dan Burton put together by his staff to gain votes, not to carry on the business of this nation!

Read it. You will stunned by the waste of taxpayers' funds this maniac is perpetuating -- merely because he thinks this will propel his own pathetic political career.

Write the Speaker of the House about this disgusting waste of your money by moronic Committee Chairmen who use your funds to get re-elected -- and not to provide anything resembling accurate information concerning their activities to the American people.

Send some snail mail -- or, BETTER YET, telegraph your House Member or the Speaker of the House about Burton. You should also telephone Burton's office immediately -- and tell him what for: he will have wasted more than $15 million of your money before his folly is over, if ever.

Be sure to include your name and at least you telephone number, or they will not take you seriously!
