You Ain't-a-Nothin' But A Poop Dawg?
Horowitz' Latest Salon Salvo at Joe Conason Whines High-Handedly About "Personal Attacks", Even As DH Takes the Low Road Against Smokin' Joe in His Own Rag
by Tamara Baker
Tuesday, July 25, 2000 -- SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA -- Oh, that poor, woefully maligned Scaife baby and Bush "Pioneer", David Horowitz.
Joe Conason caught Mr. H. lying lie a rug in one Salon column, and Mr. H. just HAD to demonstrate the truth of Smokin' Joe's words by authoring the most candy-assed, whiny neener-neener of a column I've ever seen spew from his keyboard.
To 'wit' (and in Mr. Horowitz' case I use the term loosely), David Horowitz accuses Joe Conason of indulging in "name-calling" and "personal attacks." In other words, Joe told the truth and made Horowitz' lying little carcass sting for it.
This would be all in a day's work for the projecting Mr. Horowitz -- like all good Republicans, he must transfer the guilt for his own sins onto that of his opponents. But there's a big irony to the wounded, self-righteous, po'-lil'-ol'-victim-me tone he takes in his Salon column, and the incredibly offensive gutter-'humor' he uses in his own online mag, FrontPage.com.
(WARNING: The next few passages aren't for the faint of stomach. Don't read this while eating.)
Here, gentle reader, is where you can link to the sensitive, classy and dignified David Horowitz' depiction of Joe Conason -- as a dog taking a crap!
Isn't it interesting that, to the readers of Salon, Horowitz whines about how naughty Conason is for alleged "name-calling" and "personal attacks", yet on his own website, catering to God-Fearing Moral Republicans who would never let their kids see an R-rated movie, he, this grand moral arbiter, features a grotesquely mean-spirited, unfunny, irrationally vicious and immoral personal attack on Joe Conason?
Keep it up, Mr. Horowitz. You dig your own grave deeper with each word you write!
