Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001 -- NEW YORK/WASHINGTON (APJP) -- The pundit shows had one last chance to get their cheap shots against President Clinton in.

And, while the main topic of the yammering may have been Ashcroft, with Chavez as the chaser, they did not disappoint. Eat the Press had a particularly nauseating orgy of Clinton-slamming, featuring virtues phony Bill Bennett.  All the shows made note of Clinton's having dared speak the truth about the Bush team stopping the vote in Florida.

Boy, did that get the opinion shapers in a snit!  Here's what we caught:

FAUX New Sunday
Ashcroft, Chavez get spun as Roger Ailes tries to rehabilitate the two losers

Toward the start of FNS, Tony Snow -- back from vacation and looking chipper -- asked if Linda Chavez was a victim of a "smear campaign."  She was, Tony -- but she a victim of the smear campaign against Kimba Wood, which she took part in.  Payback's a bitch, ain't it?

"Liberal activist groups" are out to stop John Ashcroft from being

Tony tried to frame Ashcroft as a "victim" of being a Pentecostal Christian, to which Harry Reid (D-NV) said that he is taking a second look at the tactics Ashcroft used to kill Ronnie White's nomination to the federal court (although he added he hasn't seen anything).  Tony tried to spin the "no king but Jesus" comment Ashcroft made as something coming from anti-tax colonists, then flashed a quote of Sen. Pat Leahy's (D-VT) comment that Bob Jones University has a racist reputation.  Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA), a Jewish politician recently targeted by the loony-right NewsMax.com site, asked whether Ashcroft can be trusted to enforce laws he does not support -- and Sen. Paul Wellstone, perhaps the most liberal Senator of them all, called Ashcroft a walking, talking example of "cognitive dissonance" -- though he said Ashcroft would get a "fair hearing."  he added that he was "troubled" not only by Bob Jones University but what he sees as a lack of sensitivity on the part of Ashcroft and others to the base practices at "BJU."  Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) blamed "liberal activist" groups for "targeting" certain Shrubya nominees.

We will tell you that we received a "blast fax: from the RNC that used (and therefore encouraged) the terms "liberal activist groups" and "target."  Talk about lock-step!

Reid talked about the duties of the AG, and Tony responded by accusing White of being "exuberant" in his recent critiques of Ashcroft -- to which Reid said that it's time for the GOP to keep an open mind.  Tony held up the "e4xample" of White opposing the death penalty for a man who killed police officers.  Tony, however, somehow forgot to mention that the guilty party in question had serious mental problems.  Spector said that he does not turn down invitations from institutions with which he disagreed -- to which Wellstone replied that Ashcroft did not challenge those views of BJU with which he disagrees, instead praising the school.  Tony, predictably, said what should be done when a politician meets with Farrakhan -- and Wellstone said that politicians should challenge his views!  He then pointed out that Dumbya was not elected with a majority of the popular vote (he should have said plurality) and that these criticisms of ideology are not "gotcha" politics.  But didn't both Lani Guinier and Bill Lan Lee run into problems about5 their ideology?

Yes, Tony -- by the worst element of bigoted states-rights hooligans on the Hill!

Hutchison said that all Senators have voted against appointees that they don't completely agree with, unless they have "extreme" views.  Has she told Ashcroft she'll vote for him?  No, she said, but she will vote for him be3cause he was a good man?  Spector said he would unless something troubling came out at the hearing.  Wellstone said he had talked to Ashcroft -- and that if Ashcroft feels he is being savaged, he's free to call wellstone, who will not tolerate it.  Clever move, Paul!

"When we return -- Linda Chavez learns that no good deed goes unpunished."

What good deed -- breaking tax laws?  Harboring an illegal immigrant?  Paying them a pittance to do menial jobs?  Lying to the Cheney-Card cadre-building team?  telling your neighbor4s to LIE by omission to the FBI?

The notorious Ms. Chavez was the first guest -- and Tony softballed her, giving her the opportunity to make excuses about when and why she told background-checkers that Ms. Mercado was an illegal.  Tony implied that had people stood behind her, she could have won the race -- pointing out that Smirk admitted to a DWI.  Juan asked if she had been hypocritical in light of her attacks on Zoë Baird.  She claimed she was an opponent of certain laws punishing people for hiring immigrants -- and that she could not remember the exact time Mercado worked for her.  Chavez then tried to spin the "cover-up," saying it was an effort to derail her appointment.  Tony asked if she was disappointed that the Dumbya crew hung her out to dry (but not in those words) -- and if she has talked to Little George (she has not).

She did say that a person invited to serve in a Cabinet should seriously contemplate saying no.  Ha, ha, ha -- then why didn't YOU, hon?

The segment was a joke.  Obviously, Ailes and Hume are out to make Chavez a "victim" of a political vendetta.  And Tony never really pressed her on the issue of "talking" to her neighbors.

Following the break, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) spent some time "explaining" why The Shrub can "stop" all this nasty partisanship.  He said that the "good feelings" toward Ashcroft are being undone by "interest groups...Bipartisan means Democrats and a few Republicans doing what the New York Times editorial page says."

We were rolling in the aisles at that one!  Clinton was fraudulently impeached and not convicted, which means that they were NOT "bipartisan" by the puritanical NYT "definition."

McConnell echoed the sentiment of Hutchison, saying that if the Senate is to hear from Ronnie White, they should hear from family members of murder victims whose killers White refused to have executed.

Right -- as if life without parole is not punishment enough for an insane, mentally handicapped killer.

McConnell then said that he does not see where the views of the Attorney General should be in sync "with mainstream America."

In other words, it is OK for the Attorney General to be a religiously insane, gun-nut-coddling bigot who will work to undermine the law and Constitution.

Tony FINALLY attacked Bill Clinton for questioning the legitimacy of Emperor Shrub's so-called win.  McConnell looked a little miffed about Clinton, called his comment "inappropriate" and not in the spirit of a stable transfer of power, and slammed Clinton by saying "he just doesn't want to leave this job."

Tony also brought up the coming protests on Coronation Day -- but made a point of saying that they were meant to "disrupt" events.  McConnell made a reference to Casablanca in which he said he was "shocked" to hear that there would be protests.

The panel speaks!  Tony showed the engraved "In-Awg'ral" invitation -- along with the DISCLAIMER which does NOT guarantee you invitation to parties, events, etc.  Bill Kristol said that the Bush Baby Team "muzzled" Chavez and did not allow her to defend herself.  Tony quoted Rahm Emmanuel, who said that Chavez was "spring training" and Ashcroft was the "big game."  Juan said that Shrub himself is not expending much political capital on his nominees, claiming that he wants strong personalities who can stand up for himself.

That is untrue.  The fact is that His Illegitimacy's team does NOT have a lot of political capital in the first place.  He is coming into office as the weakest such figure in decades.  Ceci Connelly predicted headlines about Ronnie White the day before Smirk Boy is sworn in -- he'll need to spend a lot of political capital.  Tony asked how he can reach out to blacks.  Juan said ending racial profiling, maybe making election day a vacation day, and other steps to protect the vote -- bottom line, he MUST do "real things."  Ceci admitted that Gore did phenomenally well with black voters because their economic situation and lives have improved.  Kristol joked about the quote from Matthew in which Jesus said he came not as a peacemaker but with a sword -- and Bush need to whip out the ol' scabbard!  Juan replied, "Where is the fist?"  Shrub, he said, has to show he has the political skills.

Kristol then suggested that George DumbBellYuh has BLUNDERED by nominating Ashcroft.

Then a little Clinton-bashing ensued. Tony mentioned Clinton's "departure, which prompted Ceci to smugly say that "if you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing," then said Hillary would eclipse Bill.  Tony flashed up some FOX o-Spin-ion numbers that meant nothing.  How effective was he?  Kristol, half-right, said Clinton became effective when the GOP began to fear him -- and Smirk will have to "go to the country" to win.  Ceci said that the GOP managed to look terrible during the Clinton years.  Tony said that Ford pardoned an unindicted Nixon -- should Boy George pardon Clinton?  Juan -- yes.  Kristol -- not before his indictment.  Ceci -- yes.

Tony's parting thoughts were on the Clinton presidency -- as a big "if only."  He said Clinton "wasted" his gifts and was a liar and "dodger."

As if Republicans had not targeted him with every imaginable phony scandal using Stalinesque tactics to "set" Clinton up.  As if the press had not decided to spin all the rumors and were only able to "catch" him with another woman.  As if that sort of thing NEVER happened before in Washington.

Eat the Press
Starring the engorged Tim Russert and his panel of liars

How do you make an exciting show out of nothing?  Russert relied on Tom Brokaw to make it so -- Brokaw interviewed DumbBellYuh yesterday and Timmy was stealing Brokaw's thunder (or whimper) in a "whet your appetite" feature at the top of Eat the Press. Russert also attempted to give himself and the show credit by telling us and showing us that Martin Luther King was on TV first on Meet the Press.

Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT) -- king wimp of the Democratic-controlled (for a week) Senate, was the first guest, and said he is upset about Ashcroft -- not personally, but as to why the Shrub picked such a controversial and open racist (rather than a closet racist) and why he chose a psychotic Christian who had himself anointed with holy Crisco before he was sworn into the Senate.

Our old buddy Senator Orrin "Rockstar" Hatch (R-UT) was there to defend Ashcroft.  He said that Ashcroft “seems to excel” in anti-crime initiatives and violence against women (except by their rapists and husbands). “Yeah, you’re gonna find some issues... “ Thanks for the laugh, Orrin -- SOME issues, as if racism and abortion are now "cold-button" matters.

Leahy said that any attorney general must pick and choose where he will put his emphasis.  Abortion will continue being such an issue.

Then "Slim" Russert played a clip of Shrub, who said that he ordered Ashcroft about HIS stand on abortion, and Ashcroft MUST OBEY.

Oh, great -- Bush is "Born Again" too, or so he has claimed.

Russert, uncannily, seemed as if he might be against Ashcroft.   Remember, Russert reminded us -- every chance he got -- that he’s a righteous Catholic.  Has he changed now?  Will he now become a born-again liberal so he can attack the Shrub with the same venom he did Clinton?

You betcha.

Russert asked his predictable and stupid questions, including: “If Ashcroft said that he opposes abortion and birth control, would that DISQUALIFY him for Attorney General?"  How foolish can you get? Of course not, you moron. It might block his confirmation, but Ashcroft could be confirmed even if he celebrated Hitler’s birthday as a holiday. Read the Constitution, idiot.

Then Russert quotes Stuart "Odie Cologne" Taylor, skunk lawyer-pundit -- who also has become an overnight liberal!  He said that Ashcroft is unfit to be the Attorney General!!!  Ha, ha, ha, ha -- but don't forget that Taylor thought that Ken Starr was a great “independent” counsel, and was the fool who gave Paula Jones credibility when, as it turns out, Jones herself admitted she was nothing but a whore for the ultra-right.

Orrin started to go nuts talking about some psycho who shot up a church!  How can Justice Ronnie White "go with that defendant?"  Orrin was caught in a lie -- he said that the GOP was not for White because of this, but 55 Republicans did vote for Ronnie White.

Ha, ha, ha, ha -- oh, Orrin, Orrin, Orrin.   Gotcha!

Leahy then showed what a lying snake Orrin can be when he "Alz’ed out."  He told the truth to Fat Tim: that White did not reverse the church-shooter case because he thought the perp was innocent -- he did so because the man was convicted in a lynch-trial, an unfair trial. The case was remanded for a new trial, not to release the man.

Orrin then ranted about Bill Clinton -- and he again said that Clinton should be pardoned if the latest Ken Starr attempts to indict him.

Leahy said he would love to be the defense attorney!

Hatch said: “Who cares except the extreme people?”  He wanted Tim to move on -- no doubt because he knows the efforts to lynch Clinton after he's out of office will backfire.  Republicans are worried, and Leahy pointed this out, because the depositions in a trial of Clinton (which we believe Clinton wants, by the way) would bring down the entire Republican Party.

You heard it here first: No matter how much and how often Clinton insults Bush publicly, Bush will still pardon him so the truth never comes out in a court of law.

If you want to read the truth -- just read American Politics Journal for the past few years.

Russert then began rehashing -- or more accurately, re-bashing -- the Clinton presidency -- as if he could, with four low-punching smug pseudo-intellectuals.

Former Clinton aide David Gergen claimed he was against the Clinton health care initiatives, and “disagreed with Hillary about Whitewater” -- what does that mean?  Is the little schmuck trying to imply she covered things up?

Tim then shows Brokaw and the Shrub. Brokaw said that the country thinks what Clinton has been doing is great.  Bush said the President is an interesting person and he has learned how to use the bully pulpit to get what he wants from the Congress, he played the end game very well.

Bennett, of course, agreed -- but then said that Clinton "wasted" so much and "failed" on Social Security! WHAT A LIAR. Then he said that Clinton has had "no grace" as he leaves the White House -- “after all, he humiliated his wife on the international stage and she will probably decide to go off on her own!!!”  Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha  -- what a jealous weenie this man is.

Branch said that Clinton knows exactly what happened, but he may give this impeachment stuff up and just go on with his life.

We agree -- but we will not stop -- not for a moment  -- until people like Bennett, Starr, the House "Manglers," Trent Lott, Chief Justice Rehnquist, and the press are brought to trial on the “international stage” and convicted, so that something like this never occurs again. Never.

Russert then proved yet again that he is a lying garbage-mouthed moron.  This year, is the year will we move, with our new strength of 37 million readers, to get Russert removed from any position in the media... and in the most vehement way.

Why you ask, would we stoop to bother?

Because not one individual in the media, and there are many, has engaged in such a non-stop war on a public family -- ever. Not one engaged in constant lying, purposeful misinterpretation, vicious stacking of “guests” against the Clintons, and -- worst of all -- attempted to fool the American public into thinking he had even a scintilla of understanding regarding this tragic rape of the American Constitution and what is truly stands for.

Russert is a chronic disease locked into our national media and leading it as well.

He must be excised.

Oh, and William Bennett?  This phony will also be exposed -- and his reputation, entirely phony, will be destroyed if it is the last thing we do!

The McLaugh-In Group
Issue One: So happy the Shrub will be crowned!

Issue one: Rainbow cabinet -- suddenly John is gushing about all those women and ethnically diverse people in the Shrub cadre.

Of course, they're all hard-right sellouts, but don't expect to hear that kind of talk from the pundits.  John also lied about Christy Whitman, spinning her as a champion of the environment when in fact the air and water in New Jersey got worse under her watch.  John  also touched on Ashcroft's woes.  John goofily said that if the Shrub were paying off his constituency -- white guys -- he'd load his cabinet with white guys.

WRONG!  He loaded it with sellouts who will kowtow to the white guys, John.

The opening video piece ran about five minutes.

John  then said that Shrub was an "excellent leader" -- and his parrot, Larry Kudlow, said the same thing as he bashed the "loony left."  Kudlow called the Cheney-Card team a "free commerce cabinet."  Eleanor said "I hope we're done genuflecting" and while it outdoes the Dems for diversity, it's a hard-right cabinet, and Dumbya has united liberals against him.  Tony Blankley said he's putting his most powerful players in the agencies, NOT the White House -- but he is wrong, because Cheney, Rove and Card WILL run the show.  John said "Bush wants to interact with rivals" -- but again he is wrong, in that the simple-minded Little George will be told what to do.  Clarence Page said that Clinton enjoyed being in charge.   Kudlow talked about Dumbya's MBA and having been a CEO -- but said NOTHING about the three companies that failed under his leadership.

Telling moment -- Eleanor said that Shrub was "named president."  This raised the ire of Tony, who interjected (with a little anger in his voice) that Bush was "elected."  Eleanor pressed the point -- he was named by the Supreme Court.

Clarence Page said that Clinton did try to make government more diverse -- but Shrub deserves praise for putting minorities in his cabinet -- Page is a big booster of Dumbya on this point.  This gave John a chance to imply that Clinton used what he sees as nefarious equalizers like "social security."

John then asked whether "the presumed enfeeblement of Little George" by the drawn-out election fix... er, process caused the cabinet to be diverse!  We were laughing so hard at that mad question we missed the answers!  Will Chicken George control the cabinet?
Kudlow: he's the quarterback!
Eleanor: Cheney's going to negotiate all decisions.
Tony: He's going to have to rein them in a few months out.
Clarence: this is the second Bush Sr. Administration.
John: The cabinet is the reflection of the man -- he'll control him (ha, ha, ha).

Issue two: Targeting Ashcroft!  Oh, my -- John Ashcroft is becoming the victim of special interest groups -- the horror! And "he lost his bid" for re-election "to the Carnahans!"  Eleanor said that Ashcroft is a symbol of the stealth Shrub we did not see in the campaign.  Tony took a minute to bash Janet Reno for supposedly "covering up" for Bill Clinton -- he just can't get over "losing" Bill Clinton.  Kudlow said that he's law and order, then parroted John's view that he will tolerate no corruption.  Page hoped he would step down the drug war -- but should have pointed out that it is a racist war in the first place.

Linda Chavez -- how much did it damage Shrub?
Larry -- 0.2
Eleanor -- 3.5
Tony -- 2
Clarence -- 5
John -- 2

Face the Notion
...that Ashcroft might be filibustered

Bob Schieffer welcomed Sen. John Kyl and Chuck Schumer -- topic one was Ashcroft.  Schumer said he has serious doubts about Ashcroft.  Schieffer asked if he has any examples of Ashcroft not enforcing the law, and Schumer brought up protecting abortion clinics and gun control -- essentially saying how can anyone believe that a man with Ashcroft's belief system uphold these laws in good faith?

Gloria painted Kyl as a hypocrite over voting against Bill Lan Lee because Kyl claimed he would not uphold the law but supporting Ashcroft.  Borger cited an intolerant comment by Ashcroft when he was a senator; Kyl said the duties of a Senator and an AG are different, saying Ashcroft is "a man of great integrity."

Schieffer said right-wingers are saying people are out to "smear" Ashcroft with the "politics of personal destruction."  Schumer cited the "advise and consent" obligation of the Senate -- and that they have to examine Ashcroft's extreme views.  What about charges that Ashcroft is being "persecuted" because of his faith?  Schumer slam-dunked this as a "straw man" argument -- the law must be enforced and the Attorney General must make important judgment calls.  Schieffer asked Kyl about the BJU speech and his "We have no King but Jesus" -- how should Jews take this?  Kyl said it was a statement of faith.  Schumer  said he does not either  -- but there MUST be  a separation of church and state whether you're talking Ashcroft or Lieberman.  Schumer pointed out that Ashcroft rejected Lee and Satcher on ideological grounds, not qualifications.  Borger asked how he responds to comments that Ashcroft is racially insensitive.  Kyl slammed "interest groups" (gosh, where have we heard THAT before??)  and that he hopes that people will listen to Ashcroft when questions about his racial views come up.  Schieffer cited Ashcroft's opposition to a League of Women Voters registration drive in Missouri to enroll minority voters -- and Kyl said it is not a view unique to John Ashcroft.

That's for sure -- the Klan and Council of (White Racist) Conservative Citizens were all for Ashcroft's opposition.

Following the break, Schieffer welcomed Sen. John McCain.  McCain said that he will support Ashcroft -- despite his opposition to McCain-Feingold.  He also said he's not sure that Ashcroft would have been his nominee for SAG had he won!  Ouch!  With friends like this...

Talk then turned to talk campaign finance reform. McCain said he had talked to Lott about bringing the legislation to the Senate floor and he predicts it will come up.  Will he attach it as an amendment to other legislation?  McCain said he is willing to continue talking with Lott -- in other words, "Heel, boy!"  McCain said there are now several GOP Senators ready to get behind campaign finance reform.  Gloria asked if he would accept nothing less than a ban on soft money -- and McCain said that Chuck Hagel has different reform ideas, but at least the issue is now getting discussed.

McCain then said that he had talked with Little George yesterday -- and that Shrublet wants to "resolve" this issue quickly.  Talk also touched on tax cuts -- McCain is saying the economy is "less robust" than it was (emphasis on less, but it is still robust).  He wants the marriage penalty eliminated.

What about Clinton's comment that Gore would have won had not the vote count been stopped? McCain said he should not have said that -- most presidents have remained quiet the first few years.

Do you get the feeling that the GOP is beginning to sweat over EVERYTHING Clinton is going to be saying once His Illegitimacy ascends to the Oval Office throne?  They're bristling already.

Schieffer's final word -- Clinton's legacy is a sort of prosperous gridlock with the GOP blocking spending, Dems blocking tax cuts, and the deficit vanishing.

This Weak
With "Scam" Donaldson and "Cocky" Boggs, soon to be fired

"Honeymoon? What honeymoon!?"

That is how "Scam" Donaldson started This Weak. "One nominee down, and two more in trouble!"  Good start anyway.

The hosts sent their good wishes to Ronnie Reagan, who at 89 years old and with Alzheimer’s is recovering from hip surgery today in California! "We miss you, Gipper."

As many as 30 Senators are ready to vote against John "Asscraft" Ashcroft!  That's not enough to keep him from being AG, though.  Ted Kennedy said his concerns are increasing as more and more information enters the public about Asscraft’s determination to destroy women, minority and gay rights.

Some boring talk about Ronnie White ensues. Justice White, who "Crisco Boy" actually said is “pro-criminal,” will testify at Ashcroft’s confirmation hearing -- and Ashcroft will lose by inviting some family member of one of the victims shot by a man that White wrote a remanding opinion on -- because the criminal had an unfair trial.

Barb Boxer was on talking about her public pronouncement that Ashcroft is an ass.  This nomination hurts to many people, she said, adding that he is a not a healer, and that he said “there are two things found lying in the middle of the road -- a dead skunk [we assume Stuart Taylor] and a moderate!”  Ha, ha, ha -- what about Roadkill Chavez?

But he will be confirmed, and we will have someone to pick on. Things could be worse... or could they?

Sam the fool then welcomed someone who truly deserves to be ignored by the press, televange-sleaze Pat Robertson.  Robertson claimed that Ashcroft has one of the most outstanding records -- no one could attack his integrity!!

Right, Pat -- HIS integrity is sort of like Hitler’s. Would you attack Hitler’s integrity Pat?

There was even mention of Ashcroft's having appeared so foolishly at Bob Jones University, host to cretins like DumbBellYuh, BuKKKanan, and Asscraft.

Next up were Robert Kennedy, Jr. and Governor Owens to rant about the moronic anti-environmentalist Gale Norton -- whore for the oil industry -- as Environmental Chick.

Owens, a GOPer, claims that attacks on Norton “politics of personal attack” -- which he and his party INVENTED and PERFECTED.  Funny how vigorous opposition to a political appointee -- especially one that looks like a "big time" payback to political contributors -- is suddenly labeled THE POLITICS OF HATE -- another GOP invention.

Robert Jr., not the swiftest Kennedy (or the best-looking, either), still won this debate -- because Owens is such a stupid guy.

Barney Frank joined the fray and, to our amazement, said just about nothing of note.

Next came the "Ground Round" table of dead meat pundits.

Sam said Clinton is going, but not going quietly and that he is trying to steal the limelight from DumbBellYuh.  He played a video clip of Clinton saying that Bush stole the election -- and that Clinton promises he will always be with us "until the last dog dies."  George "Staphylococcus", Judas Maximus of the Clinton Administration, naturally claimed that Clinton should not have said this!  "Staph" was and still is a laughable sellout.

George "Swill" wanted the text put up on the screen, and said the President said “stopping the voting... can you imagine?"

Actually, George, we don't imagine -- we saw this sound bite on every news show we watched for the last couple days.  What we CAN imagine is what it must look like when you throw furniture through windows at your house when you are in a near- homicidal rage.  Stick to talking about baseball, George -- at least you have credibility on that topic.

Cocky said that the Chavez mess made it difficult on the Shrub!  What a laugh riot! Bush Baby "just cut and ran," said Cocky.  Sam claimed to have broken this story himself -- another lie. "Staph" asked why Dumbya picked her in the first place -- and answered by saying he did  it to preserve his conservative base.

But "Staph" also said that the real issue on Asscraft is women, not on race.  This is true -- but Asscraft is a racist, like far too many people in Missouri, which is one of the most all-out racist states in the Union. remember -- did Harry Truman integrate the armed forces? You bet he didn’t!

Will said the Chavez situation was "somewhat of a Borking operation" -- wrong again.  He wonders whether any Republicans will go against Asscraft.

Gale Norton may get off, said Staph because the heat is on Asscraft.

"Cocky" unbelievably mentioned a silly Newsweek poll -- including the usually slanted and push-poll type questions that yielded a result of 65% of the "American People" believing Linda Chavez was kicked back to the street because that is just Washington politics. Cokie Boggs Roberts is a fool -- she acted as if Newsweek educated the idiots answering this poll about what Chavez really did: hire and enslave an illegal alien, and not pay her a living wage, and not pay taxes on her, and not pay health insurance or social security either.

What then would have been the answer on Chavez? Huh, Cocky?

Cocky thinks the Shrub is going to get a lot of what he wants in his tax bill.

We wonder. If the Democrats give him anything near what he wants -- welcome to the biggest recession ever.
