Cheney-Card Junta Blocks Clinton's Ethics Orders:
Let the Political Payoffs Commence!
Plus! Laura Says One Thing, Shrubya and Tommy Say Another

Monday, Jan. 22, 2001-- SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA (APJP) -- As expected, the Cheney-Card Junta's Puppet, former Texas Governor George W. Bush -- under orders from his junta superiors -- used a sneaky tactical maneuver to neutralize dozens of President Bill Clinton's executive orders -- including the one that prevents the Federal Government from giving contracts to companies than have broken labor, anti-discrimination and other laws.

The purpose of this is to ensure that every single one of the donors to the GOP Presidential Coup will be repaid, in spades, with big fat wasteful Federal Government contracts, the likes of which we haven't seen since the days of Ronnie Reagan and Poppy Bush the Elder.

Several of those contracts will be for the dangerous, destablizing and just plain stupid "Star Wars" boondoggle. But the GOP doesn't care that going ahead with this gravy train for contractors will be what finally causes China to develop a serious nuclear force: nope, gotta pay off those donors above all else!

Awhile back, in a fit of laziness, I offered my very own "Re-Elect Gore in 2004" T-Shirt to anyone who felt like researching the GOP Presidential Campaign's donors -- especially the Bush 'Pioneers' -- to find out which ones would have the most to fear from President Clinton's executive order banning corporate lawbreakers from receiving Federal contracts. A number of you, being just as lazy, sent me various URLs for websites that I already knew about (such as opensecrets.org and realchange.com), but any other information was lost in The Beeeg Hard Disk Crash of '01.

So, I'm going to try again: 

Over the next few weeks, I'll make a point of listing the names, one by one, of GOP donors that would have been kept from receiving taxpayer-funded kickbacks, had President Clinton's executive orders not been illegally revoked by an illegal junta.

I vow to do my part to expose and publicize the illegal dictatorship occupying the White House until I either get hauled away (see http://www.bushoccupation.com for more on how the Shubbery's minders are already sending out the Storm Troopers against anyone he doesn't like) or Shrub fulfills his promise to shut down the Internet.

Meanwhile, I see the corporate media is all atwitter over Laura Bush's saying that she supported Roe v. Wade:

"See! See! They're really NOT tinhorn Nazi usurpers, really!"

However, even as Laura, who was a Democrat when she married into the Bush Crime Family, was blurting forth her own attempt to put a smiley face on her husband's right-wing intentions, Idiot Boy himself was on Rupert Murdoch's FAUX News Channel. He was saying that he intended to have his attorney general nominee (who, unless the Democrats find enough spine to mount a filibuster, will be the rabidly anti-birth-control -- you read that right, not just anti-abortion, but anti-BIRTH-CONTROL -- John Ashcroft) find ways to circumvent Roe V. Wade, if not actually overturn it.

And Tommy Thompson, the Cheney-Card Junta's choice for Health and Human Services, has said that he intends to "review" (read: overturn) the Clinton Adminstration's approval of RU-486 on "health" grounds, even though the popular "abortifacent" drug has been in use in Europe for over a decade and is safer than aspirin, much less Bob Dole's favorite drug, Viagra.

Look for this scenario to repeat itself over and over again in the coming weeks and months. Either Laura or Shrub will say something intended to make them look and sound like nice, chirpy moderates in tune with mainstream America, even as the actions of Cheney, Card and Cabinet drastically show otherwise.
