WE'RE ABOUT TO ENGAGE FOX NEWS
...IN A BATTLE TO THE DEATH!

Many of you have written us regarding the self-proclaimed "fair and balanced" coverage of national political news on the brain-dead stepchild of cable outlets, FOX NEWS CHANNEL.
The operation is run by the obese and out-of-control Roger Ailes and Mr. & Mrs. Brit Hume, and controlled by hilarious citizenship-buyer Rupert Murdoch. FOX NEWS CHANNEL has become a 24-hour-a-day, 7-day- a-week media whore for the ultra-right wing of the Republican Party.
Just this morning, FOX NEWS CHANNEL ran a five-minutes-long diatribe against Rev. Jesse Jackson -- filled with double-entendre racism, displays of the cover of a leading supermarket tabloid, discussions of Mrs. Jackson in the most obscene terms, and their gaggle of reactionary talking heads, including one FOX "Valley Girl" who only served to remind the nation what happens when you put a book-smart, low-life, bubble-gum-chewing over-aged cheerleader on television as an "anchor."
Yesterday, the same anchors on the FOX early morning news circus ran a featured slam of entertainer Barbara Streisand, a disgusting "news" piece that skirted a direct anti-Semitic attack on her for her concerns over energy in California. The FOX hosts told viewers that her conservation suggestions would not, "of course," be followed by her and her family -- inferring she was too selfish and rich to bother.
Add to the mix Brit Hume and his panel of mediocre Clinton assassins, sans Mara Liasson (who can't get a word in edgewise and seems to be on the Neofascist take herself).
Make no mistake: FOX news is the mouthpiece for the likes of Kenneth Winston Starr, adulterer and brutalizer Henry Hyde, the sexually scarred Hutchison brothers, Crisco-anointed Attorney General John Ashcroft, and former Texas governor George "DumbBellYuh" Bush, who of late has pushed the Russians into escalation of their armed forces.
FOX, of course, reported Bush's foreign adventure -- the first of his meaningless life -- as an astonishing success. FOX reporters denounced scientifically conducted, un-Freepable polls showing Bush declining precipitously in popularity as "lies," using so-called "experts" to "prove" this.
Here is the truth: FOX is engaging in Neo-Nazi brainwashing -- and worse.
Let's turn to the "editorialists" that FOX puts on the air all day and all night.
Leading the pack is Brit Hume himself, the disgraced ex-ABC "journalist" who is now the titular Grand High Talking Head for FOX in the arena-politicale. It's bad enough that ultra-right-winger Mrs. Brit is at the top of the food chain at FOX News DC, but Brit, who used to be the object of laughter once a week on Sundays, is now on the air five days a week, two or three times a day -- with a one-hour so-called "Hit" show called "Special Report." The only thing "special" about it is the incessant lying, report of false information, twisting of truth, and non-stop personal attacks on any Democrat target pulled from a top hat of Hume filthy tricks.
Naturally, FOX led the way in the celebration of Timothy McVeigh's execution, making a mockery of our judicial system -- and the families of the dead children, wives, sisters and brothers that died at the hand of this man, who SHOULD have been the main story. For more than a week, FOX threw an on-air public execution party, sending a simple message to the families of America: look how much fun it is to watch someone die!
As most of you know, FOX does not stop here.
They also host marquis-name hypocrites, bigots, racists and "liberal" hating sideshow acts such as failed schoolteacher Bill O'Reilly, a man so filled with hate that he would make Satan queasy, Sean Hannity, the high-school educated college dropout thug who was voted the number one whore for the ultra-right wing in America last year in an APJ poll (beating even Jon "The Ghoul" Gibson and O'Reilly). Hannity, whose lack of understanding of truth is only eclipsed by the Eichmann Tapes, engages in a non-stop tirade against any socially responsible ideology espoused not only in America but also around the globe. His sidekick, liberal Alan Colmes, seems to get so little airtime, and is so overwhelmed by Hannity (do they set the volume on his mike lower intentionally? you betcha). Even FOX producers realized that Hannity was such a cretin that his show would had to be balanced by Colmes, whose local New York late-night liberal radio talk show is one of the few outposts for sanity not yet bought out by hard-right media types.
The morning drivel presented under the banner "FOX and Friends" also features quasi-psychopaths, including lame Howard Stern wanna-be "Man Cow" out of Chicago. Also featured is the religiously insane grease-laden Cal Thomas, who pens a newspaper column know to spew more hate than Himmler
Thomas engages in non-stop worship of the Bush family and, more importantly, traitor Vice President Dick Cheney who rose from an $80,000 super-receptionist for the Bush Administration to a $15 million a year head of oil services company Halliburton in the wink of an eye for helping mastermind the phony Desert Storm "war" which placed the United States in the position of forcing people to choose between environmental cleanliness and unhampered drilling in protected wilderness areas. Cheney's company engaged in non-stop trade with Saddam Hussein, using a front company in the Cayman Islands -- "HALLIBURTON CAYMANS" -- in a laughable and futile effort to pretend it wasn't violating federal laws on treason by selling oil drilling equipment and services to Iraq. Man Cow, who calls black leaders "race baiters," is featured spewing his insanity to the three morons on "Fox and Friends" each morning at 7:45 AM EST. Tune in and listen.
The worst is yet to come.
Because it is a media whore tabloid TV outlet intended for the dumbest people populating the United States -- and the easiest to manipulate into thinking that wealth proves merit, and that any way you get is okay -- FOX NEWS CHANNEL is actually seeing RISING numbers with regard to viewership. The cable outlet takes advantage of liberals who love to rant and rail about what they see and hear on the FOX tube, and Neo-Nazis who -- without knowing it -- worship the likes of porcine Roger Ailes, who in reality couldn't care less about any philosophy which does not include money-grubbing as its core.
We are more than aware that FOX has a constitutionally protected right to broadcast whatever its producers and owners wish. However, when a television network owned by an interloping tax-evader like Rupert Murdoch begins to broadcast Hitlerian propaganda as "news, fair and balanced," it is time for sponsors and the FCC to examine its raison d'čtre.
Is FOX engaging in non-stop attacks on truth and reality as pure entertainment? Or is the network engaging in the most fearful brand of mind control over a population who has no ability to separate truth from fiction?
If the network is, as it will bleat to its sponsors and Congress, engaged in "pure entertainment" then it should be required to post a warning before all of its "news" and political brainwashing programs which tells viewers -- including children -- that what they are about to see is nearly pure fiction.
If not, then FOX executives should pay the price: retrieval of its broadcasting licenses unless and until it cleans up its act and actually either presents the truth as best they know it -- or indeed broadcast both sides of issues of interest to viewers.
Therefore, American Politics Journal will once again take on a Goliath.

At only one other juncture in our online history -- the height of the 1998 impeachment fraud -- have we been forced to make such a move. A number of situations have strained the professional and personal resources of those who have been financing APJ, and at a time when we have grown and intend to further expand the oldest continuously-running liberal opinion site on the Internet -- including the need to purchase a new server, and successfully fending off a failed legal attack on APJ and its financial supporters by a dubious "privacy rights" organization.

Also keep in mind that American Politics Journal helps keep track of a misleading media elite, those professional liars whose real job is to convince you that Big Oil, Big Energy, the National Entertainment Cartel, and its newspapers, radio outlets and television stations have the right to sanitize the news and conceal the truth about the most thoroughly corrupt administration since that of Warren Harding -- and then have the rank audacity to tell you what you "should" be thinking!
In coming months, we can expect the present occupants of the West Wing to turn up the rhetoric against liberals, attempt to overturn "burdonsome" regulations and laws that are there for good reasons, and trash every program helpful to Americans that they are able to. They are already looking the other way as "enforcers" for the Cheney-Card cadre, self-styled organizations that use World Wide Web bulletin boards as their "talking drum," organize harassment and hate campaigns targeted at people who dare expose anyone close to our oligarchs as a hypocrite or a lawbreaker.
You can also expect us to continue to monitor and report on the activities of such organizations -- including their hand-picked media outlets -- and to be denounced and attacked by the extreme right.
Members of our staff and writing team have been threatened personally by neo-fascist nuts -- even threatened with death.
Every attack has been answered. Every insult defended. Every unsubstantiated legal attack demolished like a house of cards.
So, if you think you can help -- even with a few bucks -- we would appreciate it!
We will never charge a subscription fee for the Web or e-mail edition American Politics Journal. Ever. Period.
We are not a charity -- but we're not out to make a fortune on the backs of political victims on either side of the aisle.
And the funding will be put to good use: not just operations expenses, but research -- and a small but heightened presence in Washington.
If you can help, you'll also be helping to offset hatred against liberals, Democrats and (lately) moderates on both sides of the aisle -- a tidal wave of vitriol that began the moment Democrats dared propose universal health care in 1993. It is mind-boggling that the very notion that such a proposal might even have a chance at fruition frightened corporate America. We understand that --- and even agree that the proposals may have been too big and too fast to be successful.
But look at the result: an almost total marginalization of the minority poor. That is too high a price to pay as certain very greedy people try and eliminate the current and future leaders of at least a somewhat fairer society, by any means available.
You know now how important some of these now-lost safety nets can be. When the Wall Street bubble burst, many in the "new generation" of libertarian-leaners "lost their religion" and began to question the "value" of as little government as possible.
And I pledge this to you:
We will continue to speak out against the hypocrisy, posturing and outright fraud that passes for politics and journalism in America.
We will never let up on the de facto crooks who stole the entire nation's right to vote last year.
Above all, we won't let you down.
