Who's Afraid of the Big Dog?
Usurper Boy and His Minions, That's Who!
By Tamara Baker

Oct. 10, 2001 -- DUBUQUE, IOWA (APJP) -- Hello, everyone! I'm supposed to be on vacation, touring the lovely river towns of the upper Mississippi (hint: go visit Galena, Illinois someime). But I stopped by a public library to check my e-mail and dump out the spam, when I found this:

It is obscene that Republicans who hate President Clinton are using this tragedy to launch further attacks against him," said Jennifer Palmieri, a former Clinton spokeswoman now with the Democratic National Committee. "I would hope the gravity of the task before us would enable these partisans to rise above their obsession with Clinton, but I guess not."

Clinton himself remarks about it with disbelief:

The latest wave of critics can rest assured their arrows are striking the target. Now that he is an ex-president, Clinton is seeing more anti-Clinton material than ever, while channel surfing and hearing criticism against him on cable television. The former president, said several people who have spoken with him, is by turns offended at the attacks and bewildered by how, in his view, his foes will home in on the anti-Clinton angle on any event, no matter how horrific or solemn. If he or Al Gore had been president on Sept. 11, he has noted acidly, "Republicans would never have offered the support that Democrats have given President Bush".

Finally, a major paper besides Salon.com is noticing what we have known all along: Usurper Boy and his minions, those self-alleged upholders of "honor and dignity", have been spending much (if not most) of their time in the office they stole by trashing the last person to have held it.

Item: Ari (the Pitiful) Fleischer, Bush Junta mouthpiece, has been caught in several lies having to do with the rumors he helped spread -- rumors that were categorically shown to be false -- that the outgoing Clinton and Gore staffers trashed the White House before leaving it to the Usurpers.

Item: NBC's Tom Brokaw interviews Bill Clinton on September 18 -- and the Bush Junta has a hissy.

Item: Ari the Pitiful, in an attempt to explain why Usurper Boy spent the first few days running and hiding, even as Bill Clinton was unintentionally showing him up by hustling back to NYC from Australia as fast as he could (and who got to NYC, with Chelsea and greeted by tumultuous applause, a full day before Bush did), creates this long-since-debunked lie about Air Force One having been a target.

And this is just off the top of my head.

Who's afraid of the Big Dog?

The answer is clear: Usurper Boy. And for good reason: Bill Clinton, our last elected President, has more class in his little finger than can be found in the entire collected bodies of the Bush Junta.

As the Doc would say, 'Nuff Said.
