Klayman Nails Cheney... and Media Looks the Other Way!
Don't expect this on the Evening News anytime soon!
by Tamara Baker

Nov. 29, 2002 -- SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA (APJP) -- It must be frustrating as hell to be Larry Klayman right now.

Back when his targets in the White House were Democrats, he was guaranteed loads of media play, even for the most cock-eyed of pronouncements.

But now that the folks in the White House are Republicans, suddenly the broadcast and cable networks are allergic to Mr. Klayman.

FOX News Channel, so eager to feature him when he was suing the Clintons every other week, isn't interested in hearing him talk about the progress of a quite non-frivolous lawsuit Klayman's organization, Judicial Watch, filed to force Dick Cheney to come clean about his energy meetings (if you'd rather avoid giving Klayman clicks, go to CNN for the details).

Klayman's not the only one suing Ticky Dick.

The GAO's been after him, too, for the same reasons. If this was happening under the Clinton Administration, you can bet your boots this would be considered front-page news, evening-newscast news.

But since it's about Dick Cheney colluding with his oil buddies to gouge those parts of the country that fell for the privatization scam, this won't ever get the media play that a completely fake non-scandal like Whitewater got.

Now, what was this again about a "liberal" media?
