WE WANT TO GIVE YOU THE STRONGEST POSSIBLE WARNING: to say that what follows is NOT for the squeamish is an understatement. The photographs depict horrific and sickening images of violent death and suffering.

The first group of photographs constitute what were claimed on Al-Jazeera and other Arabic-language television to be Iraqi civilian casualties. They are unsuitable for children under any circumstances. Protect even your teenage kids from seeing these -- or, better yet, show them after explaining why this is all "necessary"... if you can.
