Aren't you proud?

WE WANT TO GIVE YOU THE STRONGEST POSSIBLE WARNING: to say that what follows is NOT for the squeamish is an understatement. The photographs depict horrific and sickening images of violent death and suffering.

Below are photographs of captured American soldiers, and a few that appear to have been killed execution-style, judging from the head wounds. These were also broadcast on Al Jazeera, with the permission of Iraqi authorities -- a gambit that has backfired and shows the Iraqi state to be in clear violation of international law, and provides explicit proof that Saddam Hussein and his gangster regime have no regard for basic human rights, decency and law.

These disturbing photographs should not be viewed without considering their impact, and are certainly unsuitable for young children under any circumstances.
