One of the problems with nuclear power is that whenever there is an accident…

… there is always a cover up.

Nuclear power apologists always downplay the risks and the health effects on the public and the environment.

So when we hear information about how serious the leaking radiation is the answer is always the same: "Don't worry, be happy".

If they say everything is cool, it's as if they have said nothing at all. They might be telling the truth or they might not be. But as far as relying on what the government and industry are saying it is as if they said nothing. They lie so much you can neither believe or disbelieve them on face value.
